Repacking my stuf and are heading off to my parents for some days...

Just wanted you all to see that I actually have made two things this weekend... ;)

...My Teabag is finished
...and I was "forced"... :) to finish this one...this was definetly not what I intended to do this weekend...
After Lottas litte Friday project for us all... The Cup Cozy...
the teabag had to be made...
Hmmm...this little bag have slipped my mind too many times... We were all supposed to make them for about a year ago.... and I hadn´t...and not Marica either... pheeww.... :)
Have to say it feels quite good to have it ready...
So Marica...stitch on it tonight!!!! ;)

Two out of Three...

...PIF gifts is in their new homes...
The third one is waiting for some handquilting and ..I´m so sorry Jo... sorry that its beeing delayed... but I´m working on your PIF a little day by day... so eventually it will be on its way to Tasmania!! :)

The first one I sent to Italy...
I made a wallhanging from Anni Downs book "Simple Pleasures" and also a little bookmark... I loved to make the stitcheries and the patchwork... so fun to make!! I enjoyed it a lot!!
Have to make one for myself too...
Ok..Italy.. and the reciver is Laura...

...so glad she liked my little gift for her...

The second one ...travelled to USA...
And her I had to trick a little...cause if I said that this was a PIF gift ( and not a wallhanging for me) she would have known it was for her... ;)

...The Pumkins ...Crows Quilt did land at Colleens doorstep the other day ...
And I´m so glad she was surprised ...and happy!! :)

No sewing for me today... but I cleaned up some mess in the sewingroom... :)
so hopefully there will be a little sewing one day...
think I will test a little tonight...have a cellphone case to make for my middle daughter...
its just a little thing ..and not so much cutting involved...so I´ll cross my fingers for it to work just fine...

Been at the doctor today ...and I will stay at home for another week...
She had a long talk about my overmobile joints...and it might be this that is causing my problems with the fingers... So no hard work...not lift anything heavy...and no repetitive work...and that doesn´t sound toooo bad .... :)

the frost have taken its grip in my part of the world...

My fingers aren´t well yet... so I am blaming on them...
I´m longing to start to quilt ...just because I can´t... ;) and some stitchery as well...

Still at home...

Yesterday my tennisguys came home from a FANTASTIC weekend in Stockholm...
They were tired...but they had a lot of tennistalk to share... ;)
And Viktor was so pleased with the trip so he said: -I want to move to Stockholm!!!
Oh...please not yet... give mom some time to get use to that first...
And he also said...I want to be as good as the big guys...so I will keep on with my practising all the time... so do you all know what this means...
Hmmmmm...
Yepp...more ball bouncing against cupbooards and doors in the house...!!! :)
Ok...is this what I have to live with...so Ok...as long as he is happy!!
Yesterdays mail was a very happy surprise...
You who follows my blog know that I had some bad experience with a shop in USA earlier this year...and I had two very lovely ladies who tried to help me to get into contact with that shop....
It was Pat and Sharon... oh they phoned and phoned and no result what ever...and today this arrived...from Sharon...

...with some of the books I tried to order... plus a little extra ...lovely little notepads...
Thankyou so much Sharon...I know you have tried and tried to find these books for me ever since...and I am truly grateful...

A real housewife....

Have felt like a real housewife today...
have worked hard from morning to evening...

First of all...had my breakfast... mmmm...I love my breakfasts...ok...not like the hotel breakfast my DH and son had this morning...but enjoyable nonetheless... ;)

Btw...they won two (almost three...) and lost two... :)
pretty good and today he is hunting autographs and looking at the finals...

Ok...back to me...
Took care of the sewing at morning...you know all the patching and sewing...that kind of "boring" ;) stuf... and got my top ready...almost...

...oh my gosh how ugly...all this orange fabric...too bright!!! This definetly need some fixing..
After that I took care of the washing... don´t you just hate those really sweaty workout clothes and socks... so I prepared...

...a nice hot bath....steaming... :)

After that I had to start to think of the dinner so I prepared...

...something really yummy to marinate... doesn´t it look delicious... :)
Mmmmmm... Oh ...

...I almost forgot my wash...have to spin it!!!
Back into the kitchen and put my "dinner" into the oven...
Oh..I just love to cook!!! ;)

And finally after a whole day of hard work I can feel pretty pleased with myself...

...still not satisfied with my day...think I will add some more sewing just for fun!! Not quite pleased yet...
I know I have missed something...yepp cleaning...but as I said before ...that I wouldn´t take care of them by now huge dust elephants... oh..no...

And no one in the house...except for me and some dustbunnies...and believe me ...they are going to keep me company all weekend...will not take care of them...lol...

6 days....

...since I last wrote...
Been pretty tired and still is...my wrists and my foot is complaing a lot ...but I´m still hanging in here... :) Have to kill some more dustelephants!!!

Ok...I know it´s hard to belive ...we have October...but last Saturday...we had our FIRST SNOWFLAKES.... I went out in my jammies and took some photos before they melted away...
It was sooo cold...the wind was whirling around the corner and there I stood in my pink checkered pyjamas... taking photos of the snow...and why... I hate snow... just because I had to show you ... :)
So here is the PROOF!!!!

Pincushions...
This is a pattern from a Quiltmagazine I got from Pat ...and I made the first one in fabrics I had received from her... very bright and happy...and when it was finished...it stood LOUISE on that one...so it went in the mail to her...as a little surprise... :)
And the other one I sent to May Britt on her birthday last week... Happy Belated Birthday to you!! They were quite fun to make...
A lot of parts but ok...

...they became much larger than I had imagined... but thats good... so now I need to make some more of these ones... and one for me... :)

Last Saturday my son and his friend/doublepartner were qualified for a big tennistournament in Stockholm this weekend... Hurray to them... and the girls from Viktors class did make it too..so four in the same class is going this weekend!! Pretty amazing...

Picture this...free train...free hotel ...play in a big tournament ...at the same arena as Stockholm Open...during the games and be able to see the famous players too...
Can you picture one HAPPY guy... :) ?
And his father...he is as happy ...Viktor said to him... you are only doing this for the free ride...!!!
oh oh ...what a laugh.... :O

So for the big trip tomorrow....
I had to make Viktor a little case for the cellphone... :)

...and he loved and so did his classmates...

Deadlines and a prize!!

One deadline has just passed for all Angel Story Club Members...and now it´s time to aim for the next one!!! January the 1st ...then we will see a lot of fantastic quilts ready!!
Oh I know that there are sooooo many of you who have struggled to finish the tops...
Jo in Tas almost made it... Bjorg... oh this was horrible...she cut herself with the rotary cutter badly... I feel so sorry for her...LADIES...take care and be careful!!!Please take your time and visit the blogs under the Angel badge and check out their progress...

Ok there were not so many who finished the tops...
Yvonne already had finished her top before joing the club...she is handquilting hers now...
Inger-Lise in Norway have her top finished... May Britt stayed up late at her birthday to finish her top...and I did finish in time for the deadline ...oh for that I´m grateful ;)
And I have promised a little prize for one who did finish in time...
And I won!!!
Oh...just kidding... ;)
